EXW (Ex Works): Under EXW terms, the seller is responsible for making the goods available at their premises. The buyer bears all costs and risks associated with transporting the goods from the seller’s premises to the final destination.

FOB (Free on Board): With FOB terms, the seller is responsible for delivering the goods onto the vessel nominated by the buyer at the named port of shipment. Once the goods are loaded onto the vessel, ownership and risk transfer to the buyer.

CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): CIF terms require the seller to arrange and pay for transportation of the goods to the destination port, as well as insurance against the buyer’s risk of loss or damage during transit. The seller is responsible for delivering the goods onto the vessel and paying for freight and insurance.

C&F (Cost and Freight): Similar to CIF, under C&F terms, the seller is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation of the goods to the destination port. However, the seller is not required to obtain insurance for the buyer’s risk. Once the goods are loaded onto the vessel, ownership and risk transfer to the buyer.
